Cary Jellison is a complete outdoorsman, having prowled the waters and outdoor terrain of Nevada and northern California since he was a child. He has over 30 years experience fly fishing the streams and rivers of northern California. He started his own guide service, G & J Outdoor Enterprises, in 1995 because of his love for the outdoors. His clients range from expert to beginner, and he strives to tailor trips to meet a client’s individual needs. He especially enjoys introducing young people and beginners to the sport of fly fishing.
He offers clients an intimate knowledge of the region’s wild trout and steelhead waters on the American, Feather, and Yuba rivers. As a Hyde drift boat pro-staff member, he offers anglers a chance to sample some of northern California’s finest fly fishing action with state of the art equipment. He has quickly built a reputation as a reliable and knowledgeable guide. A day on the river with Cary is fun and educational.
