Not everyone gets the chance to do what they love for a living. It’s taken a while for Casey to get there but not a day goes by that he’s not thankful for taking the chance to live and work on the water of Western Montana. Casey landed his first fish with his grandparents when he was three and he’s been passionately chasing fish ever since. He was introduced to fly fishing while attending the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs and since then, he’s pursued trout on the fly all over the Western US and Canada. After serving as an Air Force officer, Casey chose Missoula, Montana as his home and hasn’t looked back. The last several years of guiding in Montana and leading wilderness education trips around the West have led Casey to running his own outfitting business with Russell Parks, owner of The Missoulian Angler fly shop. The Missoulian Angler is a full service fly shop offering professional guide services for the classic trout water of Western Montana the Bitterroot, Blackfoot, Clark Fork and Missouri Rivers as well as multi-day fly fishing adventures around the state.
