Matt Supinski is one of the nation’s premier steelhead/salmon fly fishing guides. His latest book, The Orvis Pocket Guide to Great Lakes Salmon and Steelhead (Lyons Press) was released March 2004. He has also authored the best selling book Steelhead Dreams: The Theory, Method, Science and Madness of Great Lakes Steelhead Fly Fishing and the River Journal: Pere Marquette (Frank Amato Publications).
In addition to being the Midwest Regional Editor for Flyfisherman Magazine and the Steelhead/Salmon Editor for Flyfishing and Tying Journal, his photography and articles have appeared in American Angler, Fly Fishing and Tying Journal, Fly Fisherman, Wild Steelhead and Salmon, Fly Rod & Reel, and Midwest Flyfishing. He and his wife Laurie are proprietors of Gray Drake Lodge and Fly Fishing Outfitters in Michigan on the Muskegon River.
