Hyde Drift Boats are the boat of choice among the best national river guides and fishermen. Their on-river experience demands a drift boat built from quality products and a design capable of maximum performance. A Hyde Drift Boat floats higher in the water than any comparable boat, and is extremely maneuverable. They “track” through the water with greater ease than any other drift boat. Whether you choose an aluminum model or a fiberglass model (or a combination of aluminum and fiberglass) you’ll find that all materials are top quality, and the boat’s overall strength is second to none. This is the drift boat you’ve been looking for. Take a step up. Because, after all, life’s too short to row an ugly driftboat.
For one of the best guides in the west, look no further. Fly fishing is one of Mike’s greatest passions. He began fly fishing at the age of 12, and has fished with nothing but a fly rod since. Mike spent his childhood catching native brookies in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He fished throughout Maine while attending college. Mike moved out West to attend graduate school and hit fly fishing pay dirt. He lived within casting distance of one of Northern California’s great steelhead rivers.
While guiding, he splits his time between Twin Bridges, Montana and Island Park, Idaho. After guiding on the great rivers in Southwest Montana for 11 years, in 2009 he became a Montana Licensed Outfitter. He can handle all your Southwest Montana fly fishing needs on the Big Hole, Beaverhead, and Madison. Because he also guides the equally great rivers of Eastern Idaho — Henry’s Fork, South Fork, and the Teton — he can help you arrange the Western fly fishing trip you always wanted to take.
Mike resides in Twin Bridges, MT where he is self-employed as an ecologist.
